10 Hottest female Anchors of Ipl and Sports

The tenth edition of IPL is just 4 dyas away and fans and cricketers are enjoying it to the fullest like all other seasons. This edition is also very high on entertainment and fanfare. While players on field and cheerleaders on stands add much glamour to the game, how can we forget the hot and beautiful female anchors of IPL?

Over past ten year many Bollywood beauties and anchors have graced the IPL fans while anchoring the Extraaa Innings T20 show, and also interviewing the players on the field. We take a look at the 10 hottest female anchors that the Indian Premier League has ever had.

1) Pallavi Sharda

Pallavi was part of IPL season 9 presentor's list, this beauty was crowned ‘Miss India Australia’ in Sydney in the year 2010. She was also seen playing small roles in movies ‘Hawaizaada’ and ‘Besharam’. She, along with Rochelle Maria Rao, replaced Shibani Dandekar and Archana Vijaya who were earlier anchoring for the cash rich league.

2) Rochelle Maria Rao

Rochelle Rao in an Indian model and anchor. She was crowned Femina Miss India International in 2012. Rao was a co-anchor in the sixth edition of the IPL. She has hosted many TV shows and will soon make her debut as a Bollywood actress under a big banner.

3) Archana Vijaya

Archana hosted IPL 2015, she is one of the best cricket anchors in India and was signed up with Neo Sports for their match broadcasts. She has hosted shows such as “Tour Diary for extra cover” and “Cricket Masala mar ke”. High on style, the lady carries herself with poise and grace.

4) Mandira Bedi

First female cricket anchor Mandira Bedi, anchored the Indian Premier League in its second iterations. The 44 year old hosted the ICC Cricket World Cups in 2003 and 2007, while also being one of the anchors for the Champions Trophy in 2004 and 2006.Mandira also hosted the third edition of IPL for ITV, which broadcasts the tournament to the United Kingdom.

5) Karishma Kotak

British Indian model actress and TV presenter Karishma Kotak was a contestant in Big Boss 6. Karishma has acted in a few music videos, including one in 2004 called ‘Me Against Myself’ by British singer-songwriter Jay Sean. She was a co-anchor in the sixth edition of the IPL. The 34 year old holds a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Advertising and Marketing and initially wanted to become a teacher, but fate had other plans.

6) Shibani Dandekar

A model, singer and anchor by profession, Shibani has been part of various IPL seasons. She has been doing Extra Innings since the fourth edition of IPL. She reviews and discusses cricketing techniques with some great experts like Navjot Singh Sidhu and Shoaib Akhtar in it.

7) Shonali Nagrani

Shonali is one of the hosts on the ICC World T20 pre-match show. She had earlier hosted the Indian Premier league in the first edition of the tournament from the cricket grounds. Shonali has won the Miss India International (2003) pageant. She was one of the Top 5 participants at the Femina Miss India pageant and was a runner up in Miss International.

8) Lekha Washington

Famous South Indian actress and product designer Lekha Washington was one of the hosts of IPL in the maiden season.The dusky beauty has featured in numerous Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films, while also playing a cameo in Anushka Sharma starrer ‘Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola’. Washington subsequently went on to host Canadian 20/20 matches on international television. She became famous just two months later when she hosted the IPL season one along with Ajay Jadeja.

9) Mayanti Langer

Mayanti Langer worked for various football shows on the Zee network, providing commentary and interviews during pre-match, half-time and post-match shows. Mayanti Langer is an Indian TV sports journalist with ESPN. She was also the anchor on Zee Sports for the Nehru Cup held in New Delhi. Langer was the host of the 2010 FIFA World Cup broadcast on ESPN.

10) Roshni Chopra

Roshni Chopra started her career by hosting “Fourth Umpire”  the pre and post-match cricket show on Doordarshan. In the show she was seen debating on various cricketing issues with cricket experts like Charu Sharma, Mohinder Amarnath, etc. She has even worked in Vikram Bhatt’s thriller movie Phirr.
